When your Alfonsina parcel arrives, you can be sure it has left minimal footprint on our planet.
We endeavour to produce as locally as possible to reduce emissions. We use a textile factory based in Portugal and yarns sourced in Italy. Our collections are limited editions designed to last, made using renewable energy and sustainable or recycled materials. Sustainable quality comes with added cost but we believe environmentally-conscious apparel is a price worth paying for.
All our packaging is made from 100% recycled content and is 100% recyclable. We also use BDP® technology (non-toxic) to accelerate biodegradation (adding BDP® means our treated plastics can be consumed by microbes in the same way as leaves and other organic matter).
Complacency is not an option.
Producing products that are durable and fit for purpose will always be the cornerstone of a sustainable brand such as Alfonsina. We know that recycling and using recycled materials is not the answer long-term. We understand that minimising our environmental impact is a continual journey. We never stop actively seeking new and innovative ways to further reduce our carbon emissions.
